It focuses on the condensate-rich Montney formation in the Pipestone and Wapiti areas of the Alberta Deep Basin. NuVista Energy Ltd. was formerly known as 1040491 Alberta Ltd. and changed its name to NuVista Energy Ltd. in May 2003. The company was incorporated in 2003 and is headquartered in Calgary, Canada.
