Azrieli Group Ltd. operates in the real estate industry. The company operates in five segments: Retail Centers and Malls in Israel, Office and Other Space for Lease in Israel, Income-Producing Properties segment in the U.S., Senior Housing, and Granite. It acquires, constructs, rents, manages, maintains, and promotes malls and retail centers; and office buildings and parks for offices and high-tech industry, as well as logistic areas and storage. As of December 31, 2018, the company owned 17 malls and retail centers, and 14 income-producing properties in the office and other space in Israel; and 8 office properties in the United States. The company also has 3 active senior homes in an aboveground built-up area of approximately 76 thousand square meters (sqm), including approximately 800 senior housing units, and 2 projects under development and construction for approximately 600 residential units in a total area of approximately 60 thousand sqm. In addition, the company markets LPG and natural gas, as well as treats water, wastewater, and chemicals; and engages in the engineering design, construction, production, operation, and maintenance of plants for water filtration and improvement, desalination of seawater and saline wells, pumping stations and water pools, and treatment of well water and treated wastewater, as well as sanitary, industrial, and municipal wastewater. Further, it engages in the produces, imports, and markets chemicals and finishing processes for metals; chemicals for the preparation of surfaces for painting and industrial paint strippers; electrochemical coating materials for the high-tech and electronics industries; industrial cleaning materials; and special industrial adhesives and lubricants, and chemicals for water, as well as operates solvent recycling for parts washers and a tourist attraction. The company was founded in 1983 and is based in Tel Aviv, Israel. Azrieli Group Ltd. operates as a subsidiary of Nadav Investments Inc.
