About

The investment seeks a positive total return that has a low correlation to the broader securities markets. The fund is an actively managed exchange-traded fund ("ETF") that seeks to achieve its investment objective by investing in a combination of equity securities, financial futures contracts, forward currency contracts and other securities. The sub-adviser selects investments for inclusion in the fund's portfolio with reference to the components of the Morgan Stanley Multi-Strategy Alternative Index (the "Benchmark") through a quantitative process that seeks to exceed the Benchmark's performance. The fund is non-diversified.

This is a composite scorecard based on the application of evaluation criteria deemed most important by analysts. This is not a buy or sell recommendation.

What to like:
Superior risk adjusted returns

This stock has performed well, on a risk adjusted basis, compared to its sector peers(for a hold period of at least 12 months) and is in the top quartile.

Underpriced compared to earnings

The stock is trading low compared to its peers on a price to earning basis and is in the top quartile. It may be underpriced but do check its financial performance to make sure there is no specific reason.

Low volatility

The stock’s annual returns have been stable and consistent compared to its sector peers(for a hold period of at least 12 months) and is in the top quartile. Although stability is good, also keep in mind it can limit returns.

What to not like:
Below median dividend returns

The company’s average income yield over the past 5 years has been low compared to its peers. However, it is not a problem if you are not looking for income.

Below median total returns

The company has under performed its peers on annual average total returns in the past 5 years.

Low market capitalization

This is among the smaller entities in its sectors with below median market capitalization. That may make it less stable in the long run unless it has a unique technology or market which can help it grow or get acquired in future.
