The company operates through four segments: Arts and Antiques, Industrial and Commercial, Auction Services, and Content. It offers watches, jewelry, furniture, fine art, decorative art, vintage fashion and classic cars, and collectables; used equipment, commercial vehicles, and machineries from various industries, such as manufacturing, laboratories and pharmaceuticals, warehousing, construction, agriculture, and real estate; and consumer goods and other products. The company also operates marketplaces, such as thesaleroom.com, liveauctioneers.com, lot-tissimo.com, EstateSales.NET, BidSpotter.com, BidSpotter.co.uk, proxibid.com, and i-bidder.com. In addition, it offers Wavebid, a suite of products designed for auction house management; Auction Mobility, which provides digital auction technology for auctioneers, such as customized auction software, website design, and e-commerce solutions; Global Auction Platform, a digital marketplace for real-time audio and video broadcast; and Antiques Trade Gazette, a weekly industry trade magazine and guide to arts and antiques. Further, the company offers atgPay, an integrated payment solution; and atgShip, an integrated shipping solution, as well as provision of auction trading software. Auction Technology Group plc was founded in 1971 and is headquartered in London, the United Kingdom.
