It is managed by BlackRock Advisors (UK) Limited. The fund invests in the public equity markets of the United States. It seeks to invest in the stocks of companies operating in the energy sector, which include companies involved in the construction or provision of oil rigs, drilling equipment and other energy related service and equipment, companies engaged in the exploration, production, marketing, refining and/or transportation of oil and gas products. The fund invests in the stocks of large-cap companies. It seeks to replicate the performance of the S&P 500 Energy Index, by investing in the stocks of companies as per their weightings in the index. iShares V Public Limited Company - iShares S&P 500 Energy Sector UCITS ETF was formed on August 22, 2011 and is domiciled in Ireland.
