The company was formerly known as Izumi Real Estate Co., Ltd. and changed its name to Sumitomo Realty & Development Co., Ltd. in 1957. Sumitomo Realty & Development Co., Ltd. was incorporated in 1949 and is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan.
